Job description: My client, a Housing Association based in Brighton is looking for Construction Project Managers to join their team. These are full time, permanent positions and the successful candidates will have extensive experience in the Construction and Property sectors along with preferably a professional qualification. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.

The main purpose of the role is to project manage multiple construction phase schemes on site ranging from £5m - £35m in value for both rent and sale.

The main additional responsibilities will include;

Controlling budgets and cash flow forecasting, including expenditure and sales revenues
Delivering the scheme to a high standard before managing the handover to internal/ external stakeholders such as sales & Marketing and Residents Services
Provide leadership to external consultants, contractors and developers to ensure that schemes are delivered on time, on budget and to the required quality.

The main skills that the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate are as follows;

A minimum of 5 years Project Management experience (preferably within the Housing Sector or Construction Sector)
Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
The ability to work in a target driven environment and produce results
Knowledge of traditional construction methods and industry best practices currently being used in the Construction Industry

Candidates will preferably hold a Construction related qualification along with Project management training (Prince 2 etc.) and will ideally have a CSCS card along with a Driving Licence.
