Job description: I am urgently looking for a Contact and Referral Officer to join the First Response Team with Buckinghamshire County Council. This role is based in Aylesbury, close to motorway connections!

Main Purposes of the Job
To be the first point of contact for members of the public and partner agencies with enquiries or concerns about a child or a young person, providing appropriate information and advice, and distinguishing between enquiries that range from basic advice and support, to those that need early help services, to those where a child's safety and welfare may be at risk.

This is a really interesting office based role and a great way to get experience within the local authority and children's services.

Previous experience working with Children and Young People's Services would be very beneficial.
This is initially a 3 month contract which is likely to be extended.
