Start Date- ASAP
Contract End date- 5 months (chance of extension)
Hours per week - 37
Pay rate - £14.19 ltd an hour

Job Description
The Contract Management Assistant will support the Partnership Development and Client Monitoring team by:

*Ensuring that contractual changes between the organisation and the outsourced provider deliver the expected financial and non-financial benefits, value for money, continuous innovation and improvement

* Supporting the transition process to new arrangements that come into contract scope so that from the outset they can deliver the expected financial and non-financial benefits, and continuous innovation and improvement.

* Ownership and responsibility for the effective and efficient administration of contract management activities, liaising with all stakeholders to ensure communication and governance processes, payment, performance and benefit realisation, monitoring, and the initiation of remedial/improvement activity are executed properly, enabling the Partnership Development and Client Monitoring team to see whether the provider is on track to deliver the commissioned outcomes.

*To work across departmental boundaries and support the development of new commissions to the provider

*To maintain accurate records of all decisions made in relation to the contract, ensure that the records are clear and unambiguous, available to all parties and can be used to support future changes/discussions.

Experience Required
*Educated to A-Level or equivalent by experience, preferably in a commercial, contracts and/or procurement discipline
*Knowledge of contract management cycle and procurement process in local government
*Experience of monitoring and reporting on delivery against policy/projects/contractual or SLA requirements
