Job description: Slough Borough Council are looking for a Contract Management Support Officer to join their team

Start Date- ASAP
Contract End date- 5 months (chance of extension)
Hours per week - 37
Pay rate - £11.25 ltd an hour

Job Description
To provide a confidential, effective and responsive contract administrative, financial and technical support service and to provide a project support role to the team as may be determined.
Experience Required
*Experience of providing office management/service support services in a busy commercial /contract office environment.
*Experience of working effectively with members, senior managers, professional staff and external partners and agencies.
*Understanding of good customer service particularly in relation to external partners and agencies and working with internal departments.
*Some knowledge of local government (desirable).
*Administrative skills at a significantly high standard along with good organisational and time management skills
*Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
*Ability to undertake research and project work.
*IT skills and ability to use a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office.
*High level accuracy skills and ability to handle data accurately including complex financial data if required.
*Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and be flexible, adaptable and able to work using own initiative.
*Ability to build constructive working relationships and communicate effectively with people at all levels in a calm, confident and professional manner both verbally and in writing.
*Ability to write clear, accurate and concise reports along with the ability to analyse data from a variety of sources and produce and maintain information.
*Educated to GCSE or equivalent level with a good level of numeracy and literacy.
*Commitment to personal and professional development
*Office skills based qualification such as RSA, Pitmans, NVQ Business Administration Level 3, BTEC or equivalent.
