Job description: My client, a housing association based in Warrington is looking for a Fire Risk Contracts Manager to join their team. This is a full time, temporary role for an ongoing contract.

The main purpose of the role is to manage the service, repair and improvement of Fire Safety contracts.

The successful candidate will have a relevant building, maintenance, compliance or facilities management qualification along with a relevant fire safety/gas safety qualification.

Along with the main purpose of the role these additional responsibilities will be taken on by the successful candidate;

Act as the appointed person in relation to the statutory obligations for Fire safety and electrical system installations, including fire risk assessment, fire fighting equipment, fire precautions, fixed wired electrical installations, specialist electrical equipment and all risk reduction activity.
Act as the organisation lead for specified Fire Safety
Provide a lead technical role for all investment and new development projects and act a compliance and specialised services lead.
Develop performance specifications and service standards for Fire Safety
Support the procurement and commissioning of contracts.
Operational responsibility for ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations and YHG service standards, policies and procedures for Fire safety and electrical system installation contracts and partnerships, including 3rd party Quality Assurance auditors.
Support procurement activity and manage the day to day operational delivery of statutory compliance contracts.
