Job description: An opportunity has arisen for a well organised and motivated individual to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the contracts team within an NHS service in Southend. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational and time keeping skills, and will be comfortable working both as part of a team, and also working individually. The role of a Contract Support Assistant has many duties, which will include:
*To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the contracts team
*To maintain diaries for the management team and organise meetings including the booking of venues
*To assist in accessing and updating documents and plans in line with the with current NHS Contract guidance, and regularly check central websites for updates
*Audio Typing
*Copy Typing
*Diary management
*Coordinating contract and performance management internal and external meetings and events
*Report/letter writing
*Minute Taking in meetings
*To ensure agendas and papers are distributed to delegates within required timeframes for meetings
*To produce and maintain spreadsheets
*Other general ad hoc administrative duties
Person Specification:
*RSA 3 Word Processing Qualification
*NVQ Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent
*Accurate diary management
*Confident phone manner
*Extensive Microsoft Office experience
*Excellent time keeping skills
*Excellent organisational skills
*Intermediate skills of data inputting and audio typing
