Job description: Are you a CQC Registered Manager looking for a new and exciting permanent role?
SCS have the perfect role for you within in a private residential care home for disabled adults with complex care needs in Woodford Green!

Salary per annum: £35,000 - £40,000

Hours and length of contract:
*40 hours supernumerary
*Flexible hours to meet service needs
*The service operates 24/7

Daily Duties:
Working as the Registered Manager overseeing two purpose-build residential bungalows totalling 12 beds, you will have overall operational responsibility of these services ensuring the smooth running and the allocation and management of staff. You will be responsible for the delivery of excellent operational services within your area, regularly supervising Deputy Managers, Team Leaders and/or Senior Support Workers.

The homes provide residential care for disabled adults with complex care needs and you will be responsible for the provision of effective and efficient support to these service users with the overall objective of increasing their social development and life skills to help them live as independently as possible.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
*Monitoring and supporting the health and safety of both people using the service and support staff
*Ensuring that all staff directly support the service users and protect their well-being in compliance with external regulations, standards and monitoring bodies
*Providing supervision and support to Deputy Managers, Team Leaders and/or Senior Support Workers through effective recruitment and selection, coaching and performance management as well as support to manage their team.
*Ensuring effective financial administration of the services delivered, through the effective deployment of staff and budgets
*Using the IT system available to effectively manage staff teams, incidents, quality assurance, training and occupancy
*Working with external agencies to promote the work of the company and to increase referrals and placements within the service in line with defined business targets.
*Developing knowledge and skill of staff teams through effective inductions, providing mandatory & service specific training as and when required

The service is located close to the town centre with shops ten minutes away. There are good local transport links, close to Woodford Green Station on the Central Line.

Person specification:
To be considered you MUST have an NVQ Level 5 in Adult Social Care or Level 4 and working towards Level 5. Knowledge of legislation pertaining to people with disabilities, care leavers and people living with learning disabilities/mental health issues/physical disabilities and a proven track record of achieving Good-Outstanding outcomes from CQC.
