Job description: Credit Controller, Northampton
A local authority in Northampton are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their debt recovery department to focus on chasing council property rental income.

The Role
The focus of this role is debt recovery, which will include the following responsibilities:
-Chasing Council Property Rent Insurances
-Investigations Issuing reminders Letter templates
-Sending invoices
-Working with surveyors
-Understanding a simple lease and able to read leases
-Visiting customers' homes (on the rare occasions)

The Candidate
To be successful within this position, you need to have previous debt recovery experience, ideally within a housing setting and you must be able to understand a simple lease and able to read leases.

The Contract
This is an initial three month contract, with a strong chance of being extended. The role is full time, working 37 hours per week.
