About the client;

Service Care Solutions are currently supporting a Gambling Service in the Leeds area. They are a leading National provider of information, advice and treatment for anyone affected by gambling. The Community Gambling Service works closely with a wide range of people, communities and organisations across Leeds.

Job Title;

Criminal Justice Lead Practitioner

Key responsibilities;

  • Providing face to face and telephone advice, assessment, brief or structured interventions and groups work to help people achieve their goals
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with all areas of the Criminal Justice system in Leeds
  • Engage with a range of community groups and in community settings to bring awareness of Gambling Harm and the options of treatment offered by Leeds Community Gambling Service

About the role;

This role will be in collaboration with the Criminal Justice team in the delivery of the national programme developing gambling harm support within the criminal system.


In Leeds you will form part of an enthusiastic clinical and engagement team working from several locations. To meet the needs of our service users the role will include some evenings and occasional Saturdays.

The post-holder will have experience in providing treatment and support in a relevant addictions, health or social care setting as well as a passion to support those within the criminal justice system. The post holder will be ambitious and motivated in their approach to embedding education, training and treatment offers across professional services in Leeds so that those impacted by their own or someone else's gambling can get support.

Location - Leeds

Working hours - 35 hours per week

Type of contract - Permanent

Salary - £25,375 - £28,420
