Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a Legal 500 firm based in their South London office, who are seeking a Criminal Solicitor to join their growing team. This role will have good training and development opportunities where progression is widely encouraged. Please find below further details with regards to this position.

ROLE: Criminal Solicitor
LOCATION: South London
SALARY: £30,000 to £40,000
PQE: 1 to 3 years'

The Role

• A fee earning position and managing a full caseload of Criminal matters through to completion
• To attend police stations and magistrate's courts whilst advising and representing clients
• To represent the most vulnerable clients including individuals with of youth, disability or mental health problems

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with between 1 and 3 years' PQE
• A duty qualified Solicitor would be highly beneficial for this position
• Experience of preparation of a variety of cases for trial and advocacy is essential
• Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and staff at all levels
