Job description: Customer Advisor, Taunton
A Somerset based council are recruiting for a Customer Advisor based in Taunton, to work as part of the Customer Contact Team as the first point of contact for visitors and residents of Somerset using a range of communication channels including telephone and face to face.

The Role
Your key duties within the role will include contacting a range of services provided by the Councils departments including Revenues and Benefits, Waste Services and Housing/Planning. Customer Advisors assess the needs of the caller and will need to provide information and support as delivering some lower complexity/risk transactional services.

The Contract
This is a contact starting ASAP up to 22nd February 2018, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
