Job description: CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR

Location: Cheshire
Job Type: Permanent
Area of expertise: Customer Service In-bound calls
Salary: £DOE per hour

This is a fantastic opportunity to join work as a Customer Service Team Member in the call hub of a local authority in Cheshire! The local authority holds its people in high regard and provides fantastic career development and training opportunities. You will be working within their central operations department as a Customer Service Team Member offering frontline client support and providing advice on queries from the public. You will be able to review and collate information in order to provide advice or escalate the matter to management. The ideal candidate will be competent in dealing with clients on the telephone and have experience in customer service provision. You will be competent in using Microsoft Office and IT systems and be comfortable liaising with internal and external individuals and departments.

Responsibilities:
*Client contact inbound
*Advise on queries from the public
*Handle customer complaints effectively
*Review and collate customer information
*Assist the Operations Department
*Liaise with internal contacts
*Liaise with external clients, service providers and professionals
*Use Microsoft Office to fulfil your administrative duties
Requirements:
*Strong organisational, administrative and IT skills
*Proactive and able to prioritise tasks to deadlines working with own initiative
*Team player with a professional approach to all levels of staff
*Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
*Experience of customer service essential
*Experience of handling complaints from the public essential
*Experience of handling a large volume of inbound calls essential
