Job description: Data Analyst (Asset Management) - Farringdon or Ashford
A large South-East based Housing Association are recruiting for a Data Analyst to join their Asset Management for an 8 month fixed-term contract. The role can be based in Farringdon or Ashford.

The Role
The focus of this role is to pro-actively manage the asset management system database; analyse the data, maintain accurate and up to date information and provide regular and ad-hoc reports to support business objectives and to manage the data collection process for stock condition surveys.
This will include the following responsibilities:
*Take responsibility for data integrity within the asset management system
*Actively analyse and manage data to increase completeness and accuracy both within the system and between the system and the Housing Management system
*Maintain and update records in the asset management system to reflect new properties, disposals, new surveys, completed works and new information on a planned and ad-hoc basis
*Carry out statistical analysis and produce reports as requested to:
oIllustrate decent homes compliance
oIllustrate SAP ratings for stock
oPrepare 30 year repair cost forecasts for business planning purposes
oPrepare detailed 30 year cost forecasts of repairs for the whole stock and individual schemes/properties
oSupport business/programme objectives
*Respond to one-off requests for information from colleagues
*Manage and administer the selection process for stock condition surveys, downloading properties for survey, uploading results and validating new data

The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will require the following skills and experience:
*Confident user of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Access.
*Experience of data extraction and manipulation using Excel/Access
*Experience of using asset management systems in a housing context.
*Able to apply initiative and innovation to resolve issues and improve processes
*Experience of using SQL
*An understanding of building construction
*Experience of using Civica Keystone Asset Management system
As this role may require travel between offices, a driving license would also be beneficial to your application.

The Package
This contract is full time and paying a pro-rata salary of £35,000 (£23,333 over 8 months).
