Data Cleansing Officer - Wakefield

Job description: My client, a local authority, are currently looking for a Data Cleansing officer for an initial 2 month contract in Wakefield.

The purpose of the role is to review and cleanse data within the legacy system which is used to support the delivery of social care practice in the organisation. The role will work across Adult Services and Children's Services.

Candidates will provide support to the Business Intelligence Workstream Leads to deliver the data cleansing and migration plan ensuring timelines are achieved.

This will be a data-heavy role, which will primarily consist of checking and updating existing records, and cleansing and validating all required data for successful migration to the incumbent solution.

Experience and Knowledge:

* Excellent knowledge of IT systems required for the role e.g. Microsoft Office programmes or other equivalent systems.
* Excellent IT skills including Excel
* Ability to bulk input data as required and check data with speed and precision.
* Ability to cross reference a number of sources to ensure accuracy of data
