Data Migration Specialist - Liquid Logic

Job description: My Client, a local council in Suffolk, is currently looking for a Data Migration specialist with Liquid Logic and/or Care First knowledge to work on a 3 Month Contract.

The council are currently in the process of implementing Liquid Logic, LAS, LCS and ContrOCC from OLM Care First. This role is to support the Data Migration Manager by leading on the LCS migration.


This is expected to include, but not necessarily be limited to the following duties:

* Comprehensive previous experience of migrating data from OLM Carefirst social care case management systems to Liquid Logic
* Knowledge and understanding of the interaction between Liquidlogic's case management systems and Oxford Computer Consultant's ContrOCC finance systems
* Extensive experience of working in a complex migration environment where data is being extracted for a number of disparate systems - some of which are built in house
* Extensive experience of working in a complex migration environment where data is being extracted for a number of disparate systems - some of which are built in house
* Ability to analyse the quality of data within legacy systems.
* Experience of developing and monitoring action plans to improve data quality within the legacy and associated systems
* Previous experience of task creation for Data Quality activities;
* Ability to document and map data items between the legacy systems and the new systems; identifying risks, interdependencies and impact.
* Experience of analysing, mapping, understanding and organising data within multiple complex data structures
* Experience of developing, supporting and maintaining Extraction, Transformation and Load process (ETL).
* Experience of manipulating high volumes of data
* Experience of working with LiquidLogic validation scripts.
* Experience of presenting results/outcomes to inform discussion and decision making
* A good understanding of statutory requirements regarding data and information security
* Extensive knowledge and experience of SQL, including an in depth knowledge of data schemas and structures
* Ability to work effectively with multiple suppliers
