Job description: Deputy Home Manager needed for a Children's Residential Homes service, Thamesmead, South London.
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager vacancy within a new Children's Residential Home under a successful and well established Children's Residential Service in Thamesmead, South London. They have 5 services throughout the city with personalised approached and care plans for the service users. This service in particular is for children and adolescents ages between 10-18 years. The services covers support for learning disabilities, mental health, challenging behaviour, gang involvement and drug misuse.
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 (Full Time, Permanent)
(Negotiable upon successful application to role.)
Location: Thamesmead, London
Role: To assist the Registered Manager in the successful operations and running of one of the services newly opened children's home. You will take a lead role in being responsible for the development and operations of the service, working in line with Ofsted, CQC framework and requirements. To organise staff rotas efficiently enabling the home to run smoothly ensuring each residents care plan is met to the highest standard. To develop and maintain long lasting internal relationships between staff and residents of the home and encompass a positive and passionate environment within the home benefitting both the staff and the residents in reaching their optimum potential.
*At least an NVQ Lvl 3 in Health and Social Care but preferably an NVQ Lvl 5 in Health and Social Care (Management) or willing to do one
*Preferably past managerial experience
*2 years previous experience in a Children's Residential Home
*Preferable to have a valid UK driving licence
