Job description: Are you an experienced Care Manager seeking a new challenge? Are you passionate about care and having a positive impact on the lives of others? Do you believe you have what it takes to lead a team to success?

Service Care Solutions are working with an established client who specialises in Dementia Care to recruit an experienced Deputy Manager in the Leicestershire area. The successful candidate will work 33-44 hours per week with a typical shift being 07:00-19:45.

Salary - £25,168 per annum (based on a 44 hour working week) + 10% of annual salary paid as a bonus upon completion of SMART targets.

Job Purpose - Deputy Manager

The post holder will lead, supervise and develop a team to provide support to service users appropriate to their individual needs to ensure each service user leads an independent and fulfilling life.

Key responsibilities will include:

*To observe and communicate effectively with residents, families and other professionals.
*To be involved in support with therapy groups and activities.
*Facilitate the daily routines of the service users including personal care promoting a high standard of personal hygiene at all times.
*Participate in the development of the service user(s) support plans, risk assessments and programmes, complete written records as necessary and in accordance with the guidelines provided.
*Implement individual support plans to meet the needs of the service user(s).
*Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders in order to compliment and contribute to the positive reputation of the company.
*To set and communicate high standards of care and professional conduct within the team supervised.
*To lead and support in health and safety duties as appropriate.
*To contribute information for the accurate notification of incidents/accidents/safeguarding as appropriate.
*To empower staff and service users to maintain a homely environment.
*Ensure that all policies and procedures related to the running of the home are adhered to and any new and amended policies are read, understood and signed by all staff supporting in the home.


*NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
*The ability to lead a team


*Previous experience within a mental health capacity
