Job description: Deputy Team Manager - Adult Social Care - Brent Council
Service Care Solutions are looking for a Deputy Team Manager to join Brent Council on a Permanent basis. This is for the newly established Community Learning Disability Service, a service rated outstanding by the CQC.

PAY - £42,684 - £45,585 per annum
CONTRACT - Permanent
HOURS - Full time

*Active SW England registration
*Satisfactory Enhanced DBS
*Proven experience of working with adults with learning disabilities
*Evidence of supervisory management and organisational experience
*Evidence of knowledge of working with adults with learning disabilities and implications of NHS Long Term Plan on practice
*Experience with involvement in the effective implementation of a performance management system and dealing with poor performance
* Flexibility in role and involvement in the development of new services and organisational change
*Communicating and influencing skills
*A collaborative corporate player with strong team spirit and respect for others
*Demonstrable ability to provide day to day supervision to a large and varied staff team
*Ability to manage difficult or high-risk casework
*Able to cope with pressure in appropriate manner

The Brent Community Learning Disability Service is a newly established, forward thinking integrated team which is co-located within the Kingswood Centre. The Brent Community Learning Disability Service is part the of Learning Disability Service at Kingswood Centre, which has been rated Outstanding by CQC. The team works closely with residents, carers and Independent Providers to provide a person centred service to adults with Learning Disabilities. We are flexible with our working pattern, wfh etc so do get in touch if you're interested.
