Job description: Deputy Team Manager, Child in Need

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Permanent Deputy Team Manager in Harrow, North West London. This is to work in the Children in Need Team (CIN)

This is a Full Time role to start ASAP.

The role is paying £40,617 to 43,383 Per Annum.

The manager is keen to interview an experienced Childrens DTM ASAP.

*Further 3k after a further 3 years of service in targeted teams
*This is in addition to the ongoing £1500 annual Market Supplement, paid monthly, in place to all Childrens Social Workers

Essential Requirements:
*A degree or masters in Social Work and HCPC registration
*2.5 - 3 years + recent experience in court work + child protection
*Previous experience at a Deputy/Assistant Team Manager level

Duties as a Child in Need Social Worker include:
*To deputise for the Team Manager as and when necessary and to assist in the execution of all managerial functions relating to the smooth running of the social care teams in Targeted Support.
*To assist Team Managers in supervising and supporting Social Care staff, to provide a range of family support services for children in need, including those in need of protection, children looked after, those subject to public care proceedings and where directed by the court those subject to private care proceedings.
*To oversee and quality assure complex Parenting Assessments requested by social care teams.
*To oversee and quality assure multi-disciplinary assessments recommended by formal planning process resulting in written statements and verbal evidence in care proceedings.
