Job description: SOCIAL WORK DEPUTY TEAM MANAGER | CHILDREN IN NEED TEAM | HARROW COUNCIL

Service Care Solutions are currently looking for a Children's Service Deputy Team Manager to work within the First Response Team in Harrow Council, on a permanent basis. This work will be to assist Team Managers in supervising and supporting Social Care staff, to provide a range of family support services for children in need, including those in need of protection, children looked after, those subject to public care proceedings and where directed by the court those subject to private care proceedings.


SALARY - £42,259 - £45,139

Requirements for the role:

*Extensive post qualifying experience, including statutory work with children & families, preferably including some experience of targeted and specialist.
*Ability to build empathetic and supportive relationships with children/young people and their families.
*HCPC Registered and Social Work Qualification
*Experience of formulating care plans which consider the range of services appropriate to children/young people and their carers/families.
*To develop specialist areas of expertise as required, for example - early permanency, family justice reforms, early help and safeguarding. Multi-agency working and evidence based social work.
*To improve the quality of work done by the social workers; including effective case management, purposeful evidence based interventions, analytical assessments and high quality written work.
*To oversee and quality assure complex Parenting Assessments requested by social care teams.
