Job description: My client, a local authority, is currently requiring a Desktop Support Engineer to work for them on an initial 6 month contract.

My client are seeking a Desktop Engineers that will work within a council environment to provide hardware and software technical and break fix support on Laptops, Desktops, printers. Ensuring all contractual SLA's are met and delivered in a timely manner. All tasks should be completed in line with company technical and quality standards and procedures and to provide a high degree of customer satisfaction. Engineers will be called out to resolve issues as they occur; hence, a full driving licence is required

Experience of the following is required:

Good knowledge of hardware, laptops, base units, printer and desk phones. Standard systems and business applications e.g. Microsoft Office suites, popular web browsers, Microsoft Exchange email clients, Citrix and active directory. Microsoft operating systems and relevant platforms. Mobile technologies (Android and Windows Phones). Cirrato. SCCM.
