Job description: Domiciliary Care Manager - North Yorkshire

An experienced, organised and quality-driven Domiciliary Care Manager is required to oversee an established, large and growing domiciliary care office in Harrogate, Knaresborough, providing high-quality care and enablement in the community to older people and vulnerable adults.

As someone experienced in the management of domiciliary care, reablement or intermediate care, you will be leading a large and exceptional team working for an organisation committed to the care and support of people living in their own homes. This is a demanding, challenging and exciting role, requiring a creative individual with good communication skills. You will have the responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with new and current funders, overseeing expansion and business development, as well as some reorganisation and change management within the branch.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of the staff teams and be an integral part of the senior management team. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right person as you will be working to ensure the further growth and development of the business, recruiting and training carers, checking supervisions and appraisals are carried out effectively, conducting additional monitoring visits, reviewing care packages and risk assessments, taking a lead on CQC inspections, and overseeing the provision of high-quality care to clients in their own homes.

The keys to your success will be:

*Positive disposition and previous experience of leading a team
*NVQ4 / RMA / QCF Level 5 or equivalent

This excellent role requires someone with a great understanding and knowledge of the domiciliary care industry, who is quality-focused, who has experience of managing home care contracts, is a good manager of people, has strong knowledge of compliancy, and has a passion for relationship management and business development.

The salary for this position is negotiable depending on experience, within a range of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum.
