Job description: My Client Action For children are looking for a Donation processing officer to work for them in the Watford officer based in Hertfordshire.

By supporting the Income Processing team through the analysing, processing and posting Fundraising income onto the Raisers Edge system, and liaising with finance officers, relevant Fundraisers / Fundraising team members to obtain information necessary to process and code income, and perform Income processing to timescales agreed with the head of finance (Fundraising).

Main duties and responsibilities
1.By processing and posting online, BACS and single payment income on to the Raisers Edge database according to the timescales set, allowing RE to be up to date with income information especially for the month end reconciliations with the TM1 and Open Accounts finance systems.
2.By committing batch information to the Raisers Edge system and carrying out Gift Adjustments to Raisers Edge when required.
3.By running reports as necessary to analyse the income received from Just Giving, PayPal, Virgin Money Giving and other online platforms and post this income onto the Raisers Edge system.

4.By proactively finding all the information necessary for the income processing from the relevant fundraisers / fundraising team members, for example income codes and donor details, so that the timetables for processing are met.

5.By demonstrating responsibility for the safekeeping and security of the income received, the confidentiality of donor details, and the accuracy of the information posted on to the Raisers Edge.

6.By thanking donors through acknowledgement, letters and ensuring these are done in a timely manner after processing of income.

7.By working closely with the Data Analysts and Database Manager to ensure that, the database is updated efficiently and accurately.
8.By setting up and documenting current and new income processing processes as necessary.
9.By Assisting the Database Manager and Head of Supporter Experience with other related work as appropriate.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to start 13th May 2019
It will be on temporary basis at 35 hours a week
