Job description: Electrician.
We are looking to hire an experienced Electrician in the Bedford area.

In this post you will.
Undertake such electrical works as are deemed necessary to maintain, repair and renew installations in the Council buildings, public buildings and other Council assets including external commissions as required.
In this role you will have access to a company van which can be used to get to and from work on a daily basis.

Daily Tasks.
*Installation of wiring services using PVC, Pyrotechnic cable SWA Conduit etc.
*Install and repair Fire Alarms, Call systems, Emergency Lighting etc.

*Install and repair Electrical heating Systems, Including Storage Heaters, Warm -Air-Systems-; Under-Ebor-Heating etc.
*Repair and install Control Panels, Pumps etc.
*Tests and Repairs including Fault finding.
*Produce Periodic Inspections Reports
*New Installation Certification.

What you will to apply

*City and Guilds NVQ Electrical - Level 3 qualification or equivalent.

*Current standard: 17th Edition BS7671:2008 requirements for electrical installations.

*Current Driver's License.
