Job description: Job Title: Estate Manager
Basis: Full Time
Hours: 37 Hours
Type: 6 months contract
Location: Birmingham, B37
Job Role -
The post holder will be responsible for providing expertise on all estate management matters which includes low level anti-social behaviour and line management responsibilities for a small team of Estate Assistants within a defined geographical area.
You will working in an extremely busy and demanding service area and you will be expected to devote a significant amount of your time out of the office making yourself known and visible within your defined area, building relationships and working with your customer base and partner agencies and attending or leading partnership briefings.
The post holder will have direct or indirect responsibility for managing contracts and Service Level Agreements -
*A high quality customer focussed service to all customers
*A pro-active and preventative approach to the safeguarding of adults and children
*A supported environment to assist customers in maintaining and taking pride in their local area
*A pro- active and preventative approach to ensure that communal areas are not neglected or misused and are maintained to a high standard.
*A pro-active approach to health and safety, particularly fire integrity in high and low rise blocks
Candidate Requirements -
*Experience of working in social housing
*Experience of dealing with estate management matters
*Experience of managing staff
