Job description: Estate Officer, Hackney
A local authority in Hackney require an Estate Officer to provide customer service and housing management to a patch of approximately 500 households in central Hackney.

The Role
In this role, your duties will include - Audits and vulnerable visits to tenants, checking ASB case management against service standards, carrying out Fire Risk assessments, maintaining resident engagement, general monitoring and management of estate services - e.g. noticeboards, monitoring cleaning, ground maintenance and communal repairs. This will also include an aspect of rehousing and legal case work around tenancy breached and unauthorised occupants.

The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience in a Housing Management role, ideally with a background in estates. You will need to have carried out fire risk assessments in the past and be able to maintain a large caseload.

The Contract
This is a two month contract, running from 22nd January 2018 until the end of March. The role is full time working 37 hours per week.
