Job description: As an Estate Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective maintenance service for the Trust's estate, inclusive of engineering plant & equipment, building services, building repairs and Grounds and Gardens maintenance. To undertake minor or major capital projects as directed by the Director of Estates & Facilities. To have delegated day-to-day management responsibility for the estates directly employed labour force and workshop facilities.
Essential Requirements for the role:
-Engineering/Building Degree or HNC/HND - Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services or City & Guilds Full Tech Certificate.
-Experienced in building services maintenance, preferably in the hospital environment and previous 'hands on' working experience and Operational Management experience.
-Experienced in understanding statutory compliance, the audit process and managing a busy workshop operations.
-Extensive knowledge of the maintenance of building services in large complex buildings.
-All candidates must be car drivers and have access to their own vehicle and must be flexible in travelling around the Hertfordshire area (expenses reimbursed for this business travel).
Job Details:
Location - Hertfordshire
Pay Rate - £24.00 per/hour Ltd (equivalent to £38,000 per annum)
Job Type - Temporary (potential for Temp to Perm after 3 months)
