Job description: Executive PA to the Directors, Newton Abbot
A large South-West based housing association are recruiting for a Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to their Executive Directors of Operations and Finance.

The Role
The focus of this role is to provide support to two directors of the housing association, and this will include the following responsibilities:
-Co-ordination as required of working/ project groups; including the collation of papers, taking and producing minutes, booking venues and catering arrangements and following up any necessary actions arising from committee activities.
-Responsible for producing all forms of communication and copy typing using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
-Minute taking at relevant meetings and responsible for producing accurate timely notes to all meeting attendees
-Responsible for ensuring both relevant areas of the intranet and website are regularly updated with necessary communication, such as committee papers etc.
-Lead in all matters relating to the co-ordination of the Audit and Risk Committee; including the collation of papers, taking and producing minutes, booking venues and catering arrangements and following up any necessary actions arising from committee activities. Liaison with Company Secretary and PA to the Group CEO to ensure full co-ordination with the Board.
-Where appropriate have responsibility for delivering on key projects and areas of work as directed by the Executive Director (Operations) and the Executive Director (Finance, IT and Procurement).
-Assist the PA to the CEO as required for organising all aspects of communication for the board members and provide cover for that role during periods of leave etc.

The Candidate
To be successful within this role, you will be an experienced PA, with experience at Executive / Director level. You will also require the following skills and experience:
-Relevant experience of acting as a meeting secretary, or similar - including minute taking and preparation
-Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel 2003 and Outlook
-O.C.R. Stage II - text, audio typing and word processing (or equivalent)
-NVQ Level 2 Administration (or equivalent)
-Any experience within a housing association or public sector environment will be highly favourable
-Able to select the most appropriate communication method and can demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills

The Contract
This is an initial 3-month contract, to cover the recruitment for a permanent vacancy - once in the temporary vacancy, you will be able to apply for the permanent position.
The role is 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday and is based in Newton Abbot, Devonshire.
