Job description: Our client in NHS are looking for an estates manager to aid the project in Staffordshire!
Rate of Pay £20-21.50 An hour
Contract-Ongoing
Monitor records to ensure all assessments and routine periodic inspections are undertaken.
 Audit, manage and maintain compliance with the Trusts Water Safety Plan
 With the support of the Contracts Manager, update specifications and manage Water Safety Contracts
 Monitor and update any in-house functions for water safety compliance
 Create, manage and maintain mechanisms for requirements emanating from Water Risk Assessments to ensure timely actions
 Ensure all water safety related records are adequate and acted on
 Ensure AE appointment is in place
 Facilitate Authorising Engineer (AE) audits and create/deliver action plans emanating from such
 Create, organise and deliver a specialist training programme for water compliance needs

 Overall lead to ensure all water safety samples are monitored, recorded and
results acted on in accordance with Water Safety Plans and Legislation.
 Provide specialist advice on water safety solutions and lead on Water Safety Group approvals where applicable.
* Lead (i.e. be an Appointed Responsible Person) on Asbestos Management.
* Act as hub and lead to ensure all AE audits are received and acted on in a timely manner, including that suitable action plans are developed in conjunction with AP/RP's and assurance provided to the Estates Professional Group
* Ensure all (including out-of-area) Trust Premises (owned, leased, etc) are comprehensively compliant from an Estates Operational perspective, including supporting the Property Manager with obtaining any landlord responsibilities.
* Undertake regular meetings with Contractors and other service providers as required to ensure a compliant service is being delivered.
* Organise and Chair Management Groups in areas of Lead / AP / RP responsibilities to ensure compliance requirements are fulfilled.
* Monitor PPM reports from MICAD (or other FM software), contract KPI's, feedback forms, etc to assure compliance and expedite any non-compliant exceptions.
* Ensure appropriate monitoring systems are in place to track KPI's (e.g. compliance against statutory, national, regional and Trust requirements) against all key estates operations functions, highlight concerns and that these systems are in place to regularly report out.
* Produce reports to demonstrate compliance in Estates Operations.
