Job description: Cardiff Council Children's services are seeking to recruit family support workers to join their team. The roles are based in County Hall but the successful applicants will be providing support to families across the city so having a driving license and access to an appropriate car are essential to this position. These are full time positions with an initial contract of 3 months with a view to this being extended on a rolling basis. The role will include, but is not limited to, assisting children and their families by carrying out supervise visits emergency interventions and support visits. The successful applicants will need to have a sound understanding of confidentiality and be able to work within timescales with minimal support.

The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience of working with young people and their families
* Full UK driving license
* Enhanced DBS check
* Be able to work upon own initiative and within a team
