Job description: Family Support Worker
Service Care Solutions are looking for a Family Support Worker for a newly developing team in Oxfordshire County Council, which is an exciting opportunity for anyone joining the team. The service runs on a shift basis 7 days per week. There will be a mixture of early and late shifts, and weekend work is generally 1 in 3.

HOURS - 37 per week
CONTRACT - 3 months +
PAY - £14.46 per hour

WHAT YOU NEED
*Satisfactory enhanced DBS
*Some experience of evidence based interventions
*Knowledge and understanding of the application of safeguarding principles
*Mediation/negotiation skills
*Ability to liaise effectively with other professionals/organisations
*Knowledge of young peoples rights issues
*Flexibility in working arrangements/hours to meet operational requirements
*Experience of providing services to children and/or families with specific needs
*Good understanding of factors that support children to develop and achieve their potential
*Experience of engaging young people and other stakeholders
*Understanding of causes of behaviour in young people and behaviour management techniques
