Job description: Female Mental Health Nurse, Band 5.

Vacancies working within a hospital setting, treating female patients based in Chertsey.

A Mental Health Nurse is needed to join a busy team working with older females. The role involves assessing, supporting and treating the elderly who have mental health needs and require acute admission assessment. The location is a 20 bed acute assessment and treatment inpatient unit for females over 65 experiencing a functional mental health illness which necessitates an admission into hospital.

The role is to commence ASAP and the role is full time, with shift patterns of long days, covering 7 days.

The hourly rates are £20-£28 p/h.

Candidates must be a qualified RMN with a valid NMC Pin, and previous experience working with older individuals would be highly beneficial.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage their own caseload, and to be able to produce care plans that can be used to aid patient recovery. The ability to work under pressure is essential.
