Job description: Waking HANC Worker, Ipswich. Service Care solutions are currently recruiting for a Waking HANC Worker in Ipswich. As a Waking HANC Worker in Ipswich it is essential you have experience of dealing with crisis situations and be able to show evidence of having used your initiatives to solve problems. A key feature of this role is dealing with young homeless people with substance misuse issues, so some experience of working in this type of environment is desirable.
The purpose of the role is to provide overnight staffing cover to ensure customer safety and security, and provide customers with a timely, appropriate, calm and professional service throughout the night.
Due to the nature of hostel, only female staff are able to apply for this role and due to the vulnerable nature of the service users, you will require a current, clean DBS on the Update Service to start.
This is a full-time role, working 42 hours per week, on a four-on/four-off rota, on an ongoing contract.
