Job Description

A Local Authority in Lincolnshire is looking for a Finance Officer to join their team on a temporary 9-month contract. The postholder will be responsible for bank reconciliation, VAT compliance, Treasury cover, closedown assistance and using financial systems to cover budget work and financial support to senior managers.

The role can be worked mainly from home but the postholder will be expected to come into office occasionally with full IT provided for home working.

Ideal Candidate

  • Prior experience of working in a Local Authority finance team preferred
  • AAT Qualified or working towards minimum
  • Good communication skills, IT skills and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Experienced in using a large finance system and ability to organise own workload.
