Job description: Service Care solutions are recruiting for a Finance Officer to work in South Gloucestershire. The role is working full time Monday to Friday 9-5 on a Temporary ongoing contract.

Pay- £14.00Ltd an hour

Job Role:
*Being the main point of contact to budget holders and support staff within the 0-25 Service Team and Business Support.
*The preparation of monthly budget monitoring information, and participating in the preparation of the annual revenue budgets.
*Ensuring a prompt follow-up on requests for information from budget holders.
*Provision of financial advice and support to budget holders involving access to the main accounting systems, use of spreadsheets and specific software tools.
*Record decisions from various panels to ensure all financial data is captured correctly and follow up actions and processes are implemented.
*Supervision, on a day to day basis, of the work of the Finance Assistants.

*Research, analyse and evaluate information which may include legislative and regulatory areas to enhance decision making for budget planning. Provide good technical advice to customers ensuring that procedures and good practice are shared.

*Support the delivery of designated areas of work by co-ordinating day to day operations and contribute to developing projects and processes.

*Ensure customers are well informed and that information provided is useful, relevant and given on time.

*Contribute both to the monitoring of projects and reporting on cost effectiveness and quality standards and to the establishing, implementing and reviewing service standards and performance measures.

*Ensure that accurate records are developed and maintained and that this information is assessed and analysed.

*Establish good working relationships with customers which will lead to strong standards being established and developed at all levels.

*Communicate changes in policy and working practice to keep customers up to date and ensure all procedures and systems are updated accordingly.
