Job description: Role: Finance Officer
Location: Christchurch, BH23
Drive license/ own car required: No
Parking on site: Yes
Work pattern: Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm. 4.30pm finish on Friday (Flexible)
Start date: ASAP
End date: ongoing
Rate: PAYE £12.99 LTD £16.38

We are looking for a person with experience in finance that has dealt with cash book as opposed to having experience in a bank. They need to have experience with processing invoices and be able to reconcile the account.
Role duties
- Posting receipts and payments and reconciling payments to the finance system.
-Responsible for completing appropriate bank and cash reconciliations and controls on a timely basis and meet month end timetable
-Responsible for driving efficiency's within the cash and banking processes, including managing closure of dormant and unnecessary bank accounts.
-Resolving cash and banking queries on financial systems in conjunction with third party service providers.
-To identify and implement continuous improvement
-To assist the Financial Reporting team on any audit related issue regarding bank and cash and wider Controlling areas if time and within skill sets
-To ensure appropriate recording of cash on all UK bank accounts and that these are allocated to the correct entity and ledger.
