Job description: Role: Finance Support Officer
Location: Cambridge, CB4 2YG
Work pattern: Full time - 37 hours, Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing Contract

I'm looking for an experienced Finance Officer to work within a housing department. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive financial support service supporting the shared housing finance service, effectively working with staff, cost centre managers and customers.

Key Responsibilities
*Calculate and prepare invoice requisitions.
*Raise invoice requests in respect of sums due for payment in the housing rent system, investigating and allocating income received appropriately.
*Data input on the system.
*Ensure correct coding of income and expenditure, processing journals and recharges in the general ledger.
*Produce reports, using general ledger reporting tool.

Essential Experience:

*You will have experience working within a similar role.
*Great excel and data input skills.
*NVQ in Finance or equivalent.
*Excellent IT skills.
