Job description: Financial Income Administrator
A new opportunity has become available for a Financial Income Administrator to join a large Housign Association in London, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

The Role
This is a data entry position, on a day-to-day basis a candidate will be processing and posting rental payments for tenant accounts in line with regulations.
Your key responsibilities in the role will include:
*To ensure accurate posting and banking of all income receipts paid by tenants and housing benefits and that these are undertaken in accordance with the agreed procedures.
*Process all receipt payments in accordance with policy and procedures.
*Accurate recording and monitoring of all payment files and cheque payments.
*Efficiently run refund process with settlement and checking cheque payments with high attention to detail.
*Manage queries from internal and external parties to facilitate the accuracy of tenant accounts.
*Provide information and comply with internal and external management reporting requirements.
*Contribute to the provision of accurate and timely information internal/external auditors in line with company policy and procedures.
*Identify and escalate any know issues and conflicts to Line Manager.
*Ensure all notifications are sent to the relevant team on a daily basis.
*Ensure all suspense items are allocated and cleared down on a daily basis.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will ideally be from a Housing background and will have the following skills and experience:
*Proven experience in income/accounts receivable environment
*Experience in direct debits collection desirable
*MS Office including previous experience of Excel & Outlook

The Contract
This is a 12 week temporary contract which will become a 12 month fixed term contract on completion of the first 12 weeks. The role is full time, working 36 hours per week.
