Job description: A Housing Association based in West London is looking for a Contract Manager - Fire to join their team. This is a full time, temporary ongoing agency role and the successful candidate must have a full IFE Qualification or equivalent, strong experience within contract management and Fire projects and ideally a strong background in Local Authority projects.

The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing and/or renewal of Fire Safety Systems and/or Equipment ensuring regulatory and/or statutory compliance.
More specifically you will hold responsibility for the FRA Remediation Programme as well as manage all works ensuring compliance and completion to a high standard.
You will also be responsible for condition inspections, risk assessments and report the findings to enable satisfactory resolutions to be achieved.
To be successful, you will have a strong contract management background across MEP services.

The main responsibilities associated with the role are as follows;

Be confident and experienced in managing Responsive Repair, Planned Replacement and Servicing/Testing contracts for Fire Safety Systems and Equipment in a multi-disciplined office with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
To manage all the operational, regulatory and/or statutory compliance in respect of all Fire Safety Systems and/or Equipment
Systematically and efficiently manage the FRA Remediation Programme and Fire Safety Systems and/or Equipment budget(s), attending regular performance and financial review meetings, evaluating compliance and conformity and provide KPI's, operational performance and financial reports on a monthly basis and/or as required.
Systematically and efficiently manage and deliver the FRA Remediation Programme and Fire Safety Systems and/or Equipment Maintenance, Servicing and Replacement programs from procurement, execution and analysis to maximise operational and financial performance, all in accordance with contract terms and conditions and best practise.
Ensure FRA actions tracking systems/ databases are kept up to date at all times so that accurate progress reports can be produced.
Respond to all resident and internal department calls and/or requests for assistance and/or information.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Significant and demonstrable experience of managing Fire Safety Systems and Equipment and FRA works programmes
NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent qualification (Desirable)
Membership of RICS, CIBSE, IOB, CIH, IoE or equivalent qualification. (Desirable)
IFE Qualification or equivalent

The client is looking to move quickly with appointing to this position and as such, are offering £24 p/hr Umbrella ltd (approx. £600 p/week NET after deductions) for the duration of the role.
