Job description: My client, based in South East London are looking for a fire safety co-ordinator to join their team. This is on a full-time basis, through a temporary agency contract.

The purpose of the role is to organise fire risk assessments around the local area.

Being the central point of contact for all fire safety services activities and developments
Being responsible for maintaining and enforcing procedures
Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed in a timely fashion
Arranging training and audits of fire safety engineers to comply with specified requirements
Managing a team of outworkers and allocate workload dependent on skill sets
Projecting management of large portfolio fire risk assessment assignments
Guiding the development of company online fire risk assessment portals
Composing fire risk assessment guidance documentation, and procedure documentation for clients
Researching and appraise staff of new and updated fire safety guidance and standards
Undertaking surveys of a wide range of premises and advise clients on fire safety issues and queries
