Job description: Fleet and Operations Manager - Camden
Fantastic opportunity for a Fleet and Operations Manager in Camden. Must be CPC qualified and have experience of being an Operators License holder.

We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to manage the day-to-day delivery of the Council's Fleet Management functions. CPC qualified with experience of being an Operators' Licence holder. The post holder will manage all matters of regulatory compliance including maintaining a robust inspection, maintenance, repair and MOT service via in-house workshops, stores and external providers as necessary. You will ideally be a trained MOT Manager to oversee the MOT functions.

To assist with the budgetary and performance monitoring of Service Level Agreements, contracts, lease, and hire agreements.

To review existing systems and procedures to ensure they deliver a compliant service and continuous improvement.

To assist in the procurement of a new fleet of green transport vehicles (e.g. Electric, Compressed Natural Gas and Hybrids) and to capture stakeholders' requirements and ensure solutions are identified.

To ensure the safe operation of the transport depot, all tools and plant as necessary and to mitigate any risks.

To liaise and consult with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including providers, to inform our service delivery and to provide a safe and compliant fleet of vehicles

To lead the Council's Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) accreditation programme.
