Job description: Service Care Solutions are looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses in the Staffordshire area. We have weekday, nights and weekend shifts on forensic mental health wards across the area - please be advised, the position requires the correct candidate to have current MAPA Training (Control and Restraint prevention and management of violence and aggression) or be willing to undertake training prior to commencing work.

As a RMN your daily responsibilities will require to conduct assessments to identify a range of mental health issues, observations, implementing and reviewing care plans. The ideal candidate will be joining a highly dedicated team ensuring the highest standards of care are given. Responsibilities include giving support and advice in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful applicant will be providing different services for patients detained under the mental health act including those who have come from a prison environment and ex-offenders, you will be offering one-to-one support in contributing to the on-going treatment and recovery of patients with Mental Health problems, you may be required to move/escort patients and provide personal care for some higher dependency patients.

* Recent experience working as a healthcare assistant or support worker in the mental health sector
* Must be able to engage with patients/clients
* Proof of NMC and Nursing Qualifications
