Fullstack Java Developer - Northern Ireland

Job description: My client, a large engineering company, are currently requiring a Fullstack Java Developer to join them in Northern Ireland.

My client create revolutionary products for various sectors which include scientific, transportation and energy to name a few. Based in Northern Ireland they operate worldwide and are constantly looking to push forward and innovative new ideas.

My client will help with re-location packages, details of this will be made clear if you wish to proceed with an application.

Responsibilities:

* Understand the product and domain in order to design and develop high quality web applications and associated tests within a continuous integration environment.
* Participate in the agile processes collaborating with Product Owner, team members and other stakeholders to meet business objectives.
* Configure and maintain continuous integration and deployment environments.
* Participate in manual end to end system QA testing.

Skill Criteria:

* A degree in software engineering or equivalent.
* At least 3 years' experience in application development in JavaScript.
* Linux experience.
* Strong knowledge of JavaScript client side frameworks e.g. React
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Desirable:

* Strong knowledge of node.js and its web frameworks e.g. express.js, io.js, sails.js, meteor.js, mean.js.
* Experience using unit and component test frameworks e.g. Mocha, expect.js, Robot Framework
* Experience in designing/creating test automation processes for both client and server side components
* Knowledge of HTML5 features
* Knowledge of web-app building and releasing process(grunt, gulp, webpack)
* Basic knowledge of relational databases e.g. SQLite
* Experience working in an Agile environment with continuous integration.
* Experience Designing UX/UI solutions for various screen sizes, platforms and different performance capabilities.
