Job description: Healthcare Assistant - Learning Disability inpatient/residential - Hornsea

Service Care Solutions is looking for Healthcare Assistants for an exiting opportunity to work for the NHS in a Learning Disability service. The placement will be for the next 12 weeks at least and will involve working a shift pattern on a rota basis. The role is full time, and candidates can expect to work around 37.5 hours per week.

The Service is an 18 bedded residential service consisting of 3 Bungalows. The service supports 25-80 year old clients with multiple and profound Learning disabilities and mental health problems accompanied by complex health problems. The role will involve providing care and supporting the clients at the service which includes personal care and recreational support.

Shift patterns:
Late: 14:15-22:15
Long day: 08:00-22:15
Night: 22:00-08:15

Rates of Pay (Umbrella Limited rates):
Weekdays: £9.00
Night/Sat: £11.00
Sun/Bank Hol: £13.00

-NVQ Level 2/3 in health and Social care or equivalent qualifications and/or experience
-Previous experience in learning disabilities services.
-Must be patient and able to engage with patients/clients.
-Must have a passion for health and social care.
-Must be prepared to give personal care.
-Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Candidates must complete registration and must have an enhanced DBS in order to work with the Service
