Job description: Help to By Assistant - Newton Abbott
A leading Devonshire housing association are recruiting for a Help To Buy Assistant to ensure the successful delivery of affordable housing and Help to Buy Products from their head office in Newton Abbott.

The Role
The focus of the role is to assist to ensure the successful delivery of affordable housing and Help to Buy Products, this will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
*Answer all incoming calls in an effective, courteous and efficient manner in line with contract performance targets
*Signpost and guide clients with accurate and relevant advice.
*Respond to stakeholder requests and queries promptly.
*Liaise and work with developers in delivering Help to Buy schemes
*Liaise with Regional and National HCA offices
*Liaise with purchasers and assist them through the buying process
*Liaise with National Help to Buy Agent, Solicitors and IFAs as required
*Carry out in detailed affordability assessments and credit checks
*Carry out all administrative tasks associated with the delivery of these programmes including the imputing and approval of application forms
*Prepare regular and adhoc reports using Housing Partners system, as and when required.
*Produce reports, monitoring returns, spreadsheets and statistical information
*Maintain a working knowledge of general, relevant mortgage information, low cost home ownership and Help to Buy products

The Candidate
To be considered for this you, you will ideally have prior Help to Buy or Shared Ownership experience, however, previous experience in a fast-paced call-centre setting will be highly beneficial. You will need to have a keen eye for detail in order to quickly retrieve information from documents and be able to provide support to clients based on this.

The Contract
This is initially a temporary contract, running until 31st January 2020, but does have a chance of being extended. The role is full time, working 36.25 hours per week (8:45 - 17:00) with a one hour break.
