Job description: I am currently recruiting for a Housing and Wellbeing Officer based in Oldham. Hours of work will be 7.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday ; roughly 9:00am - 4.45pm including a half hour unpaid lunch break. Hours will change depending on needs of clients, so you will work flexi time to assist with this, and it may be the odd weekend day when they swap around.

Our client has set up a new service to deliver long term change with primary aim of supporting 200 rough sleepers across Greater Manchester over the next 3 years.

The main purpose of the role is to provide assistance to our customers; as and when required, to work as part of a dedicated team to manage high quality accommodation and services, ensuring the successful running of the building, to act as a first point of contact for the premises, responding to all enquiries via phone, email or in person, and to maintain the safety and security of customers, colleagues, visitors, contractors as well as the premise, and equipment.

Some of you key duties will include :

* To provide assistance or guidance to our customers; supporting them to fulfil the terms of their occupancy agreement and proactively following procedures when this is not the case
* To proactively raise any concerns about any customer(s) with the Housing and Wellbeing Officer and to report any concerns about any customer(s) welfare
* To take appropriate immediate action in emergency situations; contacting the emergency services and promptly informing the on call manager with full details and further action as required;
* To actively ensure the security of the building, monitoring CCTV for the purpose of security and safety; to manage visitor access to the premises, as appropriate
* To identify and report communal repairs and log these through the appropriate channels
