Job description: Housing Call Centre Operative, Hackney
A Local Authority in London are recruiting for FOUR to SIX vacancies, to work in uniquely tailored roles, within a Housing focussed Call Centre, in Hackney.

The Roles
The roles will be based within a contact centre, focussed on housing-related customer service. All successful candidates will have their own unique posts created, tailored around their individual strengths and experience. The focus of these roles, will be excellent customer service, within a fast-paced and pressurised environment.
As a general idea, you will be providing customer service based upon your specific experience, be it regarding tenancies, ASB, repairs, revenues and benefits or any other housing related area.

The Candidate
To be successful in applying is it essential that you have previous experience within the housing sector for a housing association or local authority, as well as having previously worked within a call centre position. It is also a requirement that you can demonstrate that you have the following characteristics:
-Dedicated to excellent customer service
-Able to solve problems and resolve issues at the first point of contact
-To take ownership of calls
-To take instructions and learn quickly
-Work in what can be at times a pressured environment
-Pull with the team to deliver excellent results
-Excellent communication skills

The Contract
These vacancies are on initial 3 month contracts, with a chance of extension or becoming permanent. The specific roles will be a mix of part/full time and shift patterns can be agreed upon a successful application/

The Recruitment Process
Upon your CV being selected, you will be invited to an assessment day, during which, you will undertake a number of tasks as part of a group of applicants. If you successfully advance from the assessment day, you will then be invited to a week of training and evaluation, which will be treated as a, paid, week-long "Working Interview".
Following this week, you will then be notified of your success and be given a three-month contract.
