Job description: One of the largest housing associations in London and the Southwest is recruiting for a number of vacancies for their Premium Elderly Support focussed schemes across London.

The Vacancies
There are six vacancies in total - please find some additional information on these below:

Support Assistant (Mental Health Focus) - Barnet - £18,000
*Carry out support planning and risk assessments for high need customers with the support of a Support Officer. This will involve collaborating with relevant community agencies to ensure customers receive appropriate advice and support.
*You'll also be responsible for engaging with customers and raising their awareness of local services and facilities to ensure they have access to training, education and work.
*Working closely with other departments, you'll ensure that key performance targets are met and that all customer records are up to date.

Care & Support Assistant (Mental Health Focus) - Camden, NW1 - £18,500
*Supporting customers to attend to their personal care needs including maintaining a safe and clean living environment, and cooking meals
*Monitoring the welfare and wellbeing of customers and keeping daily records up-to-date
*Supporting customers with accessing and engaging with health-related and other community services
*Medication administration and managing medication safely
*Helping to safeguard customers and support customers to safeguard themselves from risk of harm, neglect and abuse
*-Supporting customers with managing their finances safely and appropriately. Handling of finances for petty cash and social inclusion for the service

Specialist Deputy Manager (Mental Health Focus) - Camden, NW5 - £26,000
*Specialist Deputy Manager to join us at our Camden based mental health rehabilitation service. From day you will manage and lead a close-knit, friendly team to provide practical and emotional support to clients with ongoing psychosis.
*To provide clinical input for the staff and customers as directed by the service specification and the needs of the service.
*To ensure the delivery of a high quality supported service for customers with mental health and complex needs which reflects best practice and adheres to all relevant legislation and performance standards.
*To provide in house training to staff in personal areas of expertise i.e. counselling, nursing, social work, drug and alcohol specialist, etc.
*Recruit, support and supervise staff, setting and demanding professional standards of working.
*To deputise for the Team Manager during periods of absence and to provide management cover outside of core hours, as determined by the Team Manager.

Support Officer (Various mental and physical health needs) - Camden, NW5 - £22,550
*Assist carrying out support planning, risk assessments and reviews for identified customers
*Provide a broad range of practical and support tasks for identified customers.
*Within CQC provision - To provide assistance and/or guidance where needed with personal care, e.g., shaving, and intensive personal or intimate care in circumstances where this is required.
*Support customers to develop the necessary skills to live independently, and to access training, education and work.
*Manage customer mental and physical health needs by regular contact and observation.

Support Assistant (Young people, various support needs - MH, D&A, Tenancy) - Enfield, N18 - £18,450
*Carry out support planning and risk assessments for high need customers with the support of a Support Officer. This will involve collaborating with relevant community agencies to ensure customers receive appropriate advice and support.
*You'll also be responsible for engaging with customers and raising their awareness of local services and facilities to ensure they have access to training, education and work.
*Working closely with other departments, you'll ensure that key performance targets are met and that all customer records are up to date.

Specialist Support Officer (Various support needs - MH, D&A, Tenancy) - Hackney - £17,316
*To provide clinical input for the staff and customers as directed by the service specification and the needs of the service
*To take lead responsibility in application of defined specialist interventions (e.g. Social Work,
*Psychology, Drug & Alcohol)
*Disseminate & advise the local & wider team on changes to best practice & new legislation
*Participate in cross-service initiatives & projects

The Candidate
To be considered for these roles, you will require the following skills and experience:
*Experience working in community settings therapeutically, including assessments, designing interventions and demonstrating outcomes.
*Experience of developing clinical interventions for both staff and customer groups
*Experience of assessment, risk management and support planning relevant to mental health
*Knowledge of policies & procedures, including: CQC standards, Safeguarding and Health & Safety
*Knowledge of specialist assessment tools, methods and case formulation.
*Knowledge of evidence based specialist interventions appropriate for community settings.
*Experience of undertaking customer assessments, support planning and key-working with a clear outcome focus
*Knowledge about recovery model, peer support and coproduction procedures.
*Experience working in community settings therapeutically, including assessments, designing interventions and demonstrating outcomes.
*Basic level of IT skills and literacy
*Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
*Ability to communicate effectively in writing including the preparation of letters reports & file notes
*Ability to contribute to effective team working
