Job description: Job Purpose
1.To provide an efficient housing management service to Council and Leaseholder owned proprieties
2.To provide a pro-active and customer focused housing management service; predominantly within a geographical area
3.To ensure the delivery of an accessible housing service to customers that fulfils its legal and contractual obligations on its estates
4.To maintain and to promote good customer service and relationships.
5.By being a technology equipped mobile worker, the post holder is expected to identify and resolve customer issues by a regular and visible presence on estates; ensure estates are safe and well maintained; and provide advice, information and reports to assist colleagues within the Housing & communities Directorate on any housing matter.

Main Activities (Corporate)
1.Be committed to the Council's Vision and carry out work within the spirit and intention of its core values.
2.An understanding and awareness of the concept of "Making Every Contact Count" (MECC), attending training where necessary.
3.To make use of the technology available to improve communication within the team and the Council as a whole.
4.To carry out all work within the spirit and intent of relevant legislation and Council policies and procedures, with a customer care focus.
5.To work in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
6.To undertake personal development commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the job.
