Job description: Housing Officer, Norwich.
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Housing Officer based in Norwich. As a Housing Officer based in Norwich, you will it is essential that you have experience within a previous Housing Officer role and are able to deal with difficult situations and conflict. In this role you will be undertaking routine tenancy and leasehold enforcement activities, such as tenancy audits, gas 'no access' support and condition of property, as well as preparing cases for court action and can represent the employer in court. As the purpose of the role is to deliver a proactive, effective and customer focused housing management service to customers, you also need to be able to deal sensitively with vulnerable residents and build relations with support providers to ensure an understanding of the service provided, and ensure customer needs are met.
As this role covers a defined geographical area, it is essential you are able to drive and have access to your own vehicle; expenses will be paid for business miles.
This is a 5-month contract with a great chance of being extended, or being made permanent.
